With each year, more and more professional coffee roasters appear in Russia. Their level of skill is growing steadily, qualityproduct availability to Russian consumers is increasing.
In order to support the development of the industry, the expansion of knowledge in the field of coffee roasting  "Rusteacoffee 'Association established the professional annual award "Roaster of the year. " Competitive selection, which will be held in the framework of Russian Barista Days and Russian Coffee Tea Industry Event (2-4 March 2017), will be carried out by the magazine "Coffee and Tea in Russia" through roasting coffee competitions. Award winner will receive a cash prize of $ 30 000 and a trip to one of the coffee countries.
